As you can see from the pictures – Costa Rica’s Humberto Brenes is a guy that plays poker with a smile on his face. It’s this quality, combined with his reputation as a true gentleman, not forgetting his 52 World Series of Poker* cashes, that mean he is a key member of Team PokerStars Pro.

Team PokerStars Pro is PokerStars' stable of professional poker players, and Humberto joined the likes of Joe Hachem, Chris Moneymaker, Isabelle Mercier, and Alexandre Gomes among others, on the team.
PokerStars organized the best live and online poker events in the world and Humberto and his team mates could regularly be found at the tables. The Latin American Poker Tour (LAPT) was particularly close to Humberto’s heart, while the European Poker Tour (EPT), Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT), and the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure also provided the very best in live poker action.
As for the online environment, PokerStars staged the World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) - the world’s finest annual series of online poker tournaments that has been running since 2002.
